Frida Apartments - Chania (Crete)

The location was perfect with a great sea view from my room and a close walk to the beach which was just around 10 minutes. The place was really clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Ideal location, fairly clean hotel in general.

Brand-new room with great views over the beach. Location just next door to the sea, the City Center and the Old Harbor and Frida Apartments after looking at many options in Chania.

Brand-new room and staff is always extremely helpful and hospitable.

The staff were so lekker, especially Aras-his cocktails were a total jol! My room had a fine sea view, and the brekkie was simple but fresh, just what I needed each morning. Loved the chilled vibe at the pools, never too busy, just perfect!

I was almost ready to leave a glowing review until i stepped into that outdated room with those horrendously hard beds, talk about sleeping on a rock! Not to mention the unsettling walk to Chania, definitely not ideal,especially in the summer heat! After such an unpleasent experience, i fully expected an upgrade but prbably i was treated like the rest of the guests here, so sad.

It's a peaceful hotel with sensational breakfast, the location is glorious in a quiet neighborhood.

The gardens at Frida Apartments were beautifully maintained. Accessing the pools was easy, great for a restful experience suited of all ages.

More hydration stations would be beneficial .

The hot showers were consistent every day, a nice touch. Make sure to take good walking shoes for the stroll to the nearest beach.

The scenery around the complex is quite fine, with beautiful sea views that can be appreciated from various spots. The restaurant offers a solid breakfast selection, with fresh fruit and local specialties.

The walk to town is a trek-about 40 minutes-and the route can feel a bit sketchy, especially after dark, due to the path winding past an industrial area. The swimming pools are smaller than they appear in the photos. They're more suited for dipping than actual swimming. Some of the kitchenettes feel cramped and lack essential tools. And just a heads up for fellow guests, the beds are hard as rocks, which isn't ideal for a good night's sleep.

Great outdoor dining area and friendly service, but the parking is challenging.

We enjoyed staying in a lovely superior apartment with fine views of the sea and Chania. The kids loved the spacious pool areas, and I particularly appreciated the nearby restaurants offering delicious Greek fare, all within walking distance for the family.

My kids wished for a bit more variety during breakfast.

During my solo trip, I enjoyed the lovely view of the sea from my room, which truly enhanced my stay. The bar terrace offered exceptional scenery, and I appreciated the generous portions and complimentary dessert during my meal. The location was convenient, with the beach just a pleasant walk away and Chania's charming spots easily accessible. I did find the swimming pools a bit small for serious swimming, but they were beautiful and inviting.

Enjoyed both pools and the lovely restaurant. We managed to explore the fine local beaches and the vibrant old town. The staff were super friendly! Renting a car made moving around easy, and the nearby beach was only a short walk away. Everything was clean and well-maintained!

The location is a bit farther from the old town than expected, so plan to walk a bit. It took us about 30 minutes to get there, which could be tiring in the heat.

Totally recommend for a short-term stay

Beautiful apartment, fine views, we loved enjoying the lovely garden with its serene atmosphere, and having easy access to the nearby beach made our stay more fun.

Couldn't stay longer.

fantastic beach and charming town within walking distance

I loved how I could quickly walk to the beautiful Nea Chora Beach in about 10 minutes and the scenic Old Town in around 20 minutes. Despite a bit of isolation, the serene ambiance was perfect.
